Family
Couples Events Couples events are scheduled periodically throughout the year. The dates of these events can be found on the Club’s Calendar of Events. The details of these events and other information on them can be found on fliers posted around the club and also from the professional staff. Adult/Junior Events Adult/Junior Events are open to teams of an Adult Member and a Junior Member and are held on the last Sunday of every month. These events include an Adult/Junior Scramble, Alternate Shot, Best Ball, and Putting Contests. Information on these events can be found on fliers posted around the club and also from the professional staff.
Women
The Morgan Run Women’s Golf Association A Member of Morgan Run Women’s Golf Association is a member of two women’s golf associations. One being the Women’s Southern California Golf Association that provides Members with a monthly index. They also area a Member of the Santa Margarita Women’s Golf Association. This association consists of nine Member clubs that competes in “field days” throughout the year. Members of the MRWGA are also invited to play in tournaments and events, such as the Club Championship, that are scheduled throughout the year. Information on these events can be found in The Women’s Golf Club Membership Directory and also from any of the professional staff. Women’s Day Tuesday’s at Morgan Run Resort & Club are Women’s Days in which members of the MRWGA are welcome to participate in an 8:30 a.m. shotgun. Special events and exceptions to these days are announced and posted in advance. More information on the events of Women’s Day can be found in the Calendar of Events and also from the professional staff. Women’s Guest Days Women’s Guest Days are scheduled periodically throughout the year. Members of the Morgan Run Women’s Golf Association are asked to invite one to three guests to participate in a special game/format. Nine-Hole Swingers Players of all levels are invited to participate with the Nine-Hole Swingers. The Nine-Hole Swingers play every Thursday in a shotgun starting at 9:00 a.m. Special social events are planned throughout the year and information on these events and on all Nine-Hole Swingers events is available by contacting the Nine-Hole Swingers Chairperson or a member of the professional staff.
Men
The Morgan Run Men’s Golf Association A member of the Morgan Run Men’s Golf Association is also a Member of the Southern California Golf Association that provides the Member with a monthly index. Men’s Day Wednesday’s at Morgan Run Resort & Club are Men’s Days in which members of the MRMGA are welcome to participate in a 9:00 a.m. shotgun. Tuesday Night Shotgun On Tuesday nights at 5:00 p.m. from May through August Members of the MRGA and all other Morgan Run Members are invited to participate in this time-honored tradition. The event is a best ball event and handicaps are used. Ladies are also invited to participate in the Tuesday Night Shotgun if they wish to do so. Men’s Team Play Members of the MRMGA are invited to participate in Men’s Team Play events in which Members of Morgan Run compete with Members of other clubs and golf associations in the area. Information on Men’s Team Play can be found in the Men’s Club Directory or from any of the professional staff.
Juniors
Junior Clinics Junior Golfers in the area are invited to participate in Clinics on different parts of the game every Saturday of the year at 1:30 p.m. These clinics are complimentary for all participants. On Thursdays in the months of May through August a junior clinic is held for juniors who are children or grandchildren of Morgan Run Members. More information on Junior Clinics is available from the professional staff. Summer Tennis, Golf, and Swim Camps During the months of June through August, camps are held for juniors from the ages of 5 ½ to 12 years old. Camps consist of four days of instruction from Tennis and Golf Professionals on the fundamentals of the games. More information on the tennis, golf, and swim camps can be found in the Tennis Shop. Junior Golf Academy The Morgan Run Resort & Club Junior Golf Academy is a program designed to introduce junior golfers to the game of golf properly and to develop their current skills. Dates and information on the Junior Golf Academy is available in the golf shop or from any of the professional staff members. Beginners
Green Angel™ is a program that introduces women to the game of golf, but it
has grown into a social phenomenon at the club! Not only will it teach, enhance,
and increase knowledge of the game of golf, it provides the perfect environment
to make friends and accomplish a goal that will leave you feeling empowered. The
Green Angel™ program only takes place three times a year, February, June and
October. Each program meets once a week, for one month, and includes clinics and
classroom instruction from our Golf Professional Staff, and then each day is
concluded with a glass of wine and girl time. At the end of each program the
participants receive "wings" and have further opportunities to practice and take
their game of golf in the direction that is best for them. For further

Men’s Clinics Men’s Clinics are given to male Members of Morgan Run on the first
and third Tuesday of every month. These clinics take place at 10:00 a.m. and are
given by a member of the Golf Professional Staff. Information on the subject of
the clinics and the location of the clinic can be attained by calling the golf
shop.
