Morgan Run
Meet Our Pros
Patrick Guion, Head Tennis Professional
Since the age of 3, Patrick has been around the game of
tennis. His Father was a Tennis Pro as well as a teaching
professional in Dallas, Texas. Patrick's first career highlights
started in 1989 when he placed 3rd in the Little Mo, the largest
national junior tournament in the country for ages 10 and under.
Later he played in Super Championships throughout Texas. At the
age of 13 his family moved to Tucson, Arizona where he picked up
many tournament wins in the southwest section and at the
national level. This included playing intersectionals and
nationals from age 15 through 18 and being ranked top 3 in the
southwest first and second year of 18. Later Patrick went on to
play collegiate and professional tennis. Since that time Patrick
taught in Tucson and most recently was the Head Tennis
Professional
Mission Hills Country Club.
Peter Herrmann, USPTA Teaching Professional
Think you have the best game? What to challenge a Pro? Well, Peter is your man! He is the 40, and 45 & over local San Diego tennis tournament winner. He ranked number one three times in the 40 & over doubles division in San Diego, and number one once in the 45 and over division. Where did this drive come from and why a passion to teach? We guess it started when a young boy of 10 won two national championships and a national doubles title while going to Bonita Vista Junior High. From there he went on to be ranked 350 in THE WORLD in singles and number one in San Diego. (There’s the drive.) Then while working as a stockbroker he got the opportunity to be an assistant coach at the University of San Diego. He married a wonderful gal named Nicole Elliott who gave him two amazing children (there’s the passion).
Stop in and meet our Professional Staff. We hope that you or your family have an opportunity to train with these great men. We know that your tennis skills will only improve and you will have fun while you are at it.
